Crawdad's Baseball

Last night we took Landen to his first baseball game. We have a minor league team in Hickory and apparently that is the thing to do!  It was packed, but so much fun. It was so cute to watch Corbin explain to Landen what was going in the game and eventually Landen got the hang of it and started cheering when someone hit the ball. I could tell Corbin was one proud dad having Landen get so excited! I can definitely see some father-son baseball outings in the future.

Happy Mother's Day

After being away from Landen this weekend, I was really excited about seeing him on Mother's Day.  In primary they made a special gift for all the mommys. I loved it! Landen even helped dad make my favorite dinner. Spaghetti!

I love being a mom to this sweet little boy! And it was such a special day spending it with him!

Asheville, NC

This past weekend Corbin and I took our last trip, before Brooklyn is born, to Asheville! We had some friends watch Landen and we took off. It was so nice to have a weekend to just relax and not worry about anything. I love doing short get-a-ways before having a baby, because I know how crazy life is about to get! I'm trying to enjoy every moment before all the change starts next month.

We toured the largest house in the U.S call the  Biltmore. It was AMAZING!  It sits on 4200 acres and the views are breathtaking.

It was such a great weekend! And I loved spending it with Corbin. After taking his boards I think he needed to relax as much as I did. Now back to real life and preparing for this little girl.

Camping

Last night we decided to do some backyard camping. It was a beautiful night and thought it would be perfect. Landen helped put up our tent.

And we had yummy tin foil dinners.

I think roasting marshmellows was Landen's favorite part!

Landen was so excited about sleeping in the tent! He wanted to get "nice and cozy" and loved being able to sleep with us! I think we will have to do this again soon.

Girls Trip

Last week I was able to fly to Utah for Women's Conference with my three best girlfriends! Not only was I excited about seeing them after being apart for 9 months, but this was my first trip in almost two years that I was able to take without Landen! It was a much needed break before Brooklyn comes. We all met in Denver and then flew together to Utah. It was a wonderful reunion!

The classes were wonderful and super crowded!

Since being pregnant I have been craving cilantro ranch and Cafe Rio satisfied that craving! I was not disappointed.

It was a great trip of, movies, dinners, staying up late chatting, games, laughing, crying and just being crazy!

Flying back to Denver where we had to say good bye. It was hard, but our next girls trip is already planned for May 2013! NYC!!

I'm a big kid now!

Today Landen went pee pee in the POTTY!! I can't believe it! He is getting to be such a big boy. We have been promising him a present when he goes for the first time, so as soon as he went, he ran to where the present was! He got a Toy Story puzzle. This is a huge accomplishment, especially since Landen says "Big boys wear diapers and babies wear underwear!" This has been a very happy day!

28 Weeks

I can't believe how fast time is going! I wish it would just slow down a little. This baby will be here before I know it....I just hope I'm ready!
