It's been perfect outside lately and I have a feeling it's only going to get better. 
We have had a great time playing outside on Landen's scooter. This face says it all. He loves to go fast! It's been so fun. I am so excited that Fall is right around the corner.
My friend Kellie's family has a dairy farm not to far from where we live. She invited me and Landen to join them in feeding the calves yesterday. It was so much fun! I felt like a little kid again. 
Landen really loved it, but was a little unsure at first.
Then he started to get the hang of it! When those calves are hungry, they are hungry. They would drink the bottle in less then 5 minutes.
Yes.....I wanted a picture of me feeding the calf too:) I even got to milk a cow! That was definitely a first for me. I have a feeling we are going to want to go back again soon!The Sunday's that Corbin isn't on call we try to take a Sunday drive somewhere close. Well this past Sunday we went to a park in Hickory and fed the ducks. Landen and I had gone during the week with friends, but I forgot to bring my camera. It's such a pretty place we had to come back so I could snap a few pictures.
It was fun walking along the bridge looking for ducks and different animals.
Landen LOVES to feed the ducks. He usually eats the majority of the bread, but he does manage to share some:)
For Labor Day we decided to head down to Charleston Beach for a few days. We went with the Lowe family that we knew when we lived in California. It was so much fun and Landen LOVED having some playing buddies!
It was kind of a last minute decision and thought every beach house, hotel and motel would all be booked! But luckily we were able to find a beach house for a killer deal!
We had some beautiful days, except one....the sky got so dark and it rained during Landen's nap, but that was perfect time for us to relax!
It was pretty windy! Please don't look at our hair! Just the background! I love the beach!
We explored Charleston and it is such a cute place to visit. Everywhere you look could be a picture. Beautiful buildings, cobble roads and ocean from all sides.
We saw this big fountain and apparently you can swim in it! Landen even pulled out his trucks and started playing with them in the water.
It was a long couple of days, but a fun trip! I'm glad we got to sneak another beach trip in before the fall comes!Corbin passed his boards!! YAHOO!! We are thrilled and I know Corbin is so glad to finally have it behind him! We celebrated by going to a place called Box Car Grill. We had never been there before and it was ok. Landen loved all the trains everywhere in the restaurant.
Knowing Corbin passed his boards is a great start to a fantastic Labor Day Weekend!
Today was a fun day with friends. We went to a place called Buffalo Beals and it's like a small version of a zoo. Which is nice because the closest zoo to us is 2 hrs away!
Landen said "Let's go!" He loves animals and I thought this would be a perfect outing.
Landen and his new BFF Evan loved petting the animals. Landen especially loved the Zebra and pony. He kept talking about them when we got home.
