This is a true picture

I walk in Landen's room and this is what I see. A true picture of Corbin reading Landen a story. He LOVES books. Several times a day I will walk around the house looking for Landen and he will be in his room looking at books! I have a feeling he's going to be a smart boy.

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to my sweet husband! We had such a fun weekend celebrating and was able to go out on Friday night and Saturday night! I could get used to that. We finally went to the movies and saw Inception. Whoa...is all I can say about that movie. And of course Corbin always has to go to Outback for dinner. I won't complain because it is super good.

Landen and I made Corbin a cake and Landen LOVED the batter. Holy Cow. He would have put his face in the bowl if I let him.

It was so cute watching Landen use a candle to scoop up the icing and bring it back to his mouth. Boy does that kid love sweets! Just like his momma!

And a Harline birthday wouldn't be complete without a game of "hot-n-cold" to look for his gifts. Happy Birthay! Next year this time you will be done with residency! Now that will be a good feeling.

Girls Weekend!

Since Corbin and I have been married we have always lived away from family. So with every state that we have lived in we have always made some amazing and lasting friendships. They have been our family away from family! I have some of the most amazing girlfriends on the planet! Over the next few months we will all be going our separate ways, so we decided to do a girls trip to Dallas. The last time I did this was before I got married, so that was close to 8 years ago. I would say it was probably time for one!

We had to have at least a few cheesey pictures right??

We all brought books, but of course we never read because of all the "girl talk" that took place:)

We did a ton of shopping, laying out by the pool, went to the movies, slept in, had our nails done, and plenty of eating out. It was so nice not having to worry about anything and to just relax!
This is a picture at the end of our trip when getting home. Our car was filled! It was a perfect trip. Can't wait for the next one....it will start on Thursday instead of Friday:) Corbin doesn't know that. Hehe
