Sleeping babes

 I love that my kids have a special blanket that they have to have when they go to sleep. And I also love that Landen sucks his right thumb and Brooklyn sucks her first and middle fingers on her right hand. I will keeps these special blankets forever to remember when they were once so little.

Sister time

 My sweet sister Camilla came to visit me this week before her and her husband move to England for 4 years! It meant so much to me to have her visit since I obviously can't travel anymore. It was such a great week relaxing and catching up with her.

 She cooked for me and made banana bread! Brooklyn even helped!

Her final night we went to outback to eat some yummy food! It was so hard to say goodbye. Landen kept saying "How old will I be when I see Camilla again?" The kids loved being with her! Now that she is going to England it will be a good excuse to go visit :)

Happy Easter

Brooklyn was still too scared to even get close to the Easter bunny!

But she would get close to a real bunny and chicken! Works for me:)

Down to the wire

 38 weeks

39 weeks

At my last doctors appt my doc checked me and I have dilated to a 1 1/2cm and my mucus has thinned, along with my membranes. But the head isn't in the canal, so that's good. We still have a week or so. The doc thought labor would start next week. I'm experiencing contractions that keep me up at night, so I know my body is doing something:) Kayla comes tomorrow, so the baby can come anytime after she arrives!!

Pregnancy Photo Shoot

 I loved having my maternity pictures taken in Palm Springs CA on my girls trip! I am grateful I have these photos to remember my last pregnancy with Grant. Part of me is ready for this experience to be over, so I can finally enjoy those special moments with my little boy. But at the same time when he makes his debut into this world I will have to share him with everyone else. I have loved being the only one connected to him.  I already love this little baby with all my heart.
