We finally made a decision about where we are going to be starting our next adventure after graduation....North Carolina. We are both thrilled about it and are excited about a fresh start this summer. Part of me wants to have Corbin finished with residency now, so he can finally be out of school and actually start practicing.....but then it also means at that point we will have to leave all the wonderful friendships we have made in Oklahoma. It's hard for me to even think about leaving because I know it will be a bitter sweet day. It's starting to sink in now with all that needs to be done in order to prepare for this move. Omigoodness.....stressful! I can't believe four years are almost over and it's our turn to have this experience. Just one day at a time and trying to savor every moment.

Nursery
Yeah!!! Landen's is 18months and that means yesteday was his first day of nursery!! As you can tell Landen was cheering for joy in this picture because he knew he would be able to play with toys for two hours instead of having to listen to a bunch of people talk!! What a great day it was!! I have missed being able to sit in class and listen. Just wonderful!!

Florida
On December 27th my Mamaw passed away in Florida, so I surprised my family and made a trip to be at the funeral. My mom was having such a hard time and I wanted to be there for her and all her brothers and sisters. When my mom first saw me she just sat there and put her head down and cried. She said "I kept waiting hoping you would come." I'm so grateful I was able to be there. The funeral was so beautiful and it was really nice to see my Mamaw one more time.
I loved being back in Florida. It had been over a year since I had been home, so it was great to finally be home again. While Landen and I were there, he had a lot of "firsts." Here are a few: He learned how to feed a baby...his cousin Malea.
He learned how to use a sparkler. And last but not least....
He learned how to use a gun! He is all boy and he loved all the open spaces to run around and get dirty. He learned how to say Meme and Papa. It just melted my heart. It was great to be together and have everyone come together during such a hard time. There is strength in numbers and I know my mom felt that with everyone there. It was sad to leave, but like I said, I love to look forward to things. Another family trip should be around the corner!

Chair
Landen is really into having his own place to sit. So the first picture was the usual set up for when he watched "Curious George." We figured Christmas would be the perfect time to get him his own chair. He LOVES it! If the chair is not in front of the ottoman he goes and finds it and drags it to where it needs to be. Now all he needs is a remote!

Christmas in AZ
What a great holiday season the Harline home had! We flew to Arizona for Christmas and it was so wonderful being with family.
The kids were so excited to break through the door to see what Santa left them!
