Spooktackular

Every year the city put on a fall festival with games, trunk or treating, free food, prizes, costume contest and lots more. It was so fun and Landen had a blast. This was the first year we went and I hate Corbin missed it. But Landen made sure to tell him all about it!
Playing some b-ball.
Brooklyn was all smiles even with a missed nap.
Best Buds and all super hero's!
He loved all the candy. Obviously...he kept wanting to sit down and look at it all.
It was a perfect night and it wasn't too chilly like years past.Thank goodness!

Old Friends

This past weekend we had our very first house guest and what better people than the Wudel family! Corbin and Dave went to high school together and after all these years they are still friends! Corbin said even though they don't talk everyday, it felt like they were picking up right where they left off. And that is a true friend! We loved having them with us!

Field Trip

Yesterday Landen went on his first field trip to Red Wolf Farms. It was so cute to see him with his class and meet his little friends.
They learned all about the farm animals and was able to feed the baby cows.
His favorite part was the tractor hay rides.
And he was VERY excited about taking his picture with me!!
It was interesting to see him surrounded by his class. I noticed he is a very shy little guy in big group settings. I think he takes after me with this trait.
He loved the bunny.

They learned all about chickens and got to feed them. He wasn't too impressed with the chickens:)
At the end of the day we got to pick out a pumpkin!

And play in the corn buckets. He made corn angels. It was such a fun day!

Lazy Saturday

I love Saturday morning just being lazy! And we did just that. Corbin is in D.C for a conference, so it is just me and the kids. Which means....anything goes!

Happy Birthday Corbin

Corbin decided that he wanted to celebrate his birthday week next week, since it has been so crazy with moving and all. He didn't want this week to count:) We did still have cake and presents and Landen made the cake all by himself! I had to do the eggs because he doesn't like to have his hands dirty.
Landen is such a stinker when I want him to smile right! I had to post this picture because he looks so funny!
Happy Birthday to daddy! I love Brooklyn's face in this picture. It looks like she is thinking "What have I gotten myself into??" haha
