Every Tuesday since the beginning of the school year, Landen had his two best friends come over and play for a few hours in the morning. Next week will be the last day and I am very sad! Landen looked forward to Tuesday's like he looks forward to Monday's when the "trash truck" comes to our house. Tuesday morning during breakfast I would say to Landen "your friends are coming over today." And Landen will say "Charwee (Charlie) and Jen!!" And squeals. It's so funny at his young age he loves them so much! After breakfast he usually waits by the door and watches for his friends to drive up.
They do all kinds of fun things together. Like: look for bugs, go to the park, watch movies, play in the leaves (during the fall), ride on Landen's scooter, play wii (Landen say's Maryo aka Mario), build awesome forts, play in the sandbox, paint, color, use sidewalk chalk and swim! Charlie even wanted to take a bath at 11:00 in the morning wearing swim trunks! Everyday is always an adventure!
I've loved watching these sweet friends this year and will be sad to have it come to an end!
