Landen woke up on the birthday with a donut cake! Much to his request! He wasn't disappoint! He was so excited! It started his birthday off on the right foot!
Landen is such a good big brother to his little sister. He likes to call her "girl." They love to cuddle especially in his bed. Maybe one day I will let them sleep together. But no time soon. Landen takes good care of her and watches her to make sure she isn't doing something dangerous.
He is very smart. He can read basic books, count to 100 and write his name and all the letters of the alphabet. He is doing another year of Pre K, so that he is the oldest in his kindergarten class rather than the youngest. He loves going to school and learning new things.
He is going to be a natural athlete. He is very talented and very fast. He loves to play baseball and good at hitting the ball. He is learning to swim and this summer he has learned to swim with his head under water! He is getting a lot better!! He gets nervous for swim lessons though because he doesn't like to put his head under water. He also knows how to swing on the swing all by himself. He doesn't need any pushes!
We have a garden this year and he has helped plant the vegetables. He is a very big helper and eats the veggies that we have planted without complaining...too much. He helps around the house by setting the table, clearing his plate after dinner, cleaning up his room/play room.
