Christmas Eve we woke up to ice starting to fall, then it turned into small flakes, then it turned into big flakes with fast winds, then it turned into a BLIZZARD. The whole day non stop 60 mph winds with lots and lots of snow. That is so unlike Oklahoma! The picture below doesn't show how fast the winds were. It was scary for anyone to be out in it. Of course Corbin was. He was trying to come home from work. He couldn't see in front of him so the cars on the freeway were at a stand still. Corbin almost got hit numerous times and he almost hit other people too. I was so worried the entire time he was gone. It took him 4 hours to get home when it normally takes 20 minutes. He had the honda which was a really bad idea. He got stuck, so he had a friend tow him home. It was a nightmare, but so greatful nothing bad happened to him! The next day as we drove to our friends house for Christmas brunch this is what we saw. The visablitiy was so bad yesterday people didn't know where the roads started and ended. It was awful. The last blizzard in Oklahoma was in 1924! We definitely had a white Christmas with 14 inches of snow.
